Design
The newest building and state-of-the-art indoor training facility at Burke Mountain Academy was recently named a U.S. Ski Team High Performance Center. The facility features more than 6,000 sq. ft of turf field as well as 4,700 sq. ft of training area with rubberized floor to allow for adolescent-specific training in strength, conditioning and physical literacy.
Fishers Island, New York
A broad gable gives the museum a public presence in the village, and a tower with a bell-shaped dome announces the entrance. An outside gathering space behind the museum with a large deck and gazebo overlooks and connects the building to a nature preserve.
