Jocelyn Aceves

Jocelyn received her BA in Architectural Studies from Boston University. After graduation, she spent the summer working as a Historical Preservation Intern at Great Camp Santanoni in the Adirondacks—an experience that strengthened her interest in architectural heritage and hands‑on conservation work. Most of her time was spent re-glazing the main camp’s original 1893 windows and leading architectural tours of the property.

Originally from Santa Ana, California, Jocelyn moved back to Boston and joined ART in the fall of 2025. Though she misses the warmth of the West Coast, she couldn’t resist Boston’s rich cultural and architectural history—harsh winters and all. ART’s appreciation for hand‑drawing especially resonated with her, fueling her desire to understand how history reveals itself through every facet of design.

Jocelyn now lives in the Savin Hill neighborhood of Dorchester, MA. Outside of work, she enjoys upcycling clothing, taking long walks through the city, watching Latin telenovelas, and spending time with friends. You can usually find her on the phone with her family, juggling a soccer ball or making the most of a sunny day in Boston.
