This compound of new buildings adopts a vernacular rural style, reinforcing the culture of the place by using simple barn forms. The composition is unified by painting all the buildings the traditional ferrous oxide red.

In the tradition of New England farmhouses that evolve over time, we added wings which extend the house into the landscape and include a new living room, studio, and an indoor “endless pool.”

Custom-made cabinets cleverly accommodate sconces while maximizing storage space. Library bookcases incorporate Classical motifs.
